🌸 Our Story
Tattoos by Charlene started with a passion for ink and self-expression. After getting my first tattoo, I knew I wanted to create a studio where clients feel safe, inspired, and truly valued. Every design is custom, every session is personal, and every client is family. Our goal is to tattoo in a clean, sterile environment but without the fuss of a traditional busy tattoo studio. Privacy and comfort is our main goal with our setup. I am a female artist and piercist, who runs our studio with my husband who is also my part time piercist.
About Your Artist:
Old in soul, young at heart, Charlene is friendly, down to earth, kind and creative, sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic - always ready to tattoo. Mom to a beautiful little girl, the inspiration behind GiGi's Little Lovelies, when not doing mommy duties or making memories with her family or daughter, Charlene is an active gamer (tatsbycharlene on Twitch & Discord) or she is busy drawing, painting or busy with a new product or idea. Family orientated and raised in an artistic household. Charlene delivers unique and creative concepts to your ideas.

We operate a private, home-based studio in Bertrams, Johannesburg - fully powered by solar energy and secured with 24/7 CCTV. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and eco-friendly environment for your tattoo journey. House calls and event setups are available (area dependent) with call-out fees and minimum spend applied.
