Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
How to Refund, Return or Exchange an Item
To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at admin@tattoosbycharlene.co.za with the following information:
- Your Order Number
- Item/s to return
- Item condition
- Reason for return/exchange
Please include pictures and a video of the item/s if necessary. We will attend to your query and respond within 24-48 business hours.
Return and Exchange Conditions
- No returns or exchanges on sale, discounted, or expired items
- Items must be in new and unused condition
- Items must be returned with all original packaging and accessories
- Jewelry must be unworn and sealed in its original packaging
- Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery date
Shipping Charges
- You are responsible for shipping charges unless the item is faulty or defective
- If you would like to exchange an item, please detail which items you would like as replacements
Packaging and Shipping
- Please pack your item securely using a sturdy box and padding such as bubble wrap
- Use a courier bag provided by the courier company if not sending in a box
- Send back in secure packaging to the address provided within 7 days of original purchase date
Processing Returns
- Once the return is received at our warehouse, it can take between 2 to 5 days to process the returned item and query
- You will receive an email indicating the outcome, and we will process according to management's approval
Refund Policy
- Refunds will be issued within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item and management's approval
- Refunds will be made in the original payment method
- You will receive a full refund, minus any shipping charges, unless the item is faulty or defective
- Refunds are subject to management's approval
Defective or Incorrect Items Return Policy
If you received a defective or broken item within 7 days after the order has been dispatched from our warehouse, please send an email to admin@tattoosbycharlene.co.za.
Body Jewelry Returns and Exchanges Policy
- Jewelry should not be autoclaved unless otherwise stated on the product
- Jewelry is delicate, and improper use is considered negligence
- Standard/basic jewelry can be used with tools, not fancy items
- We will not be held liable for any item broken or tarnished due to improper care and use
Tattoo Machines/Battery Packs
- Customers have 48 hours after receipt to evaluate the machine for irregularities
- We strongly recommend that you insure this product, as we will not be liable for any damage, repairs, malfunctions, power surges, etc.
Limited Warranty
- We warrant that, during the warranty period, hardware components of products purchased from our site will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
- This limited warranty does not extend to other equipment, components, or devices that a customer may use in conjunction with our products
What Does This Warranty Cover?
- This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the hardware components of products purchased from our site
What Does The Warranty Not Cover?
- This limited warranty does not cover any damages due to transportation, courier/shipping, storage, improper use, failure to follow product instructions, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or external causes such as accidents, abuse, theft, or other actions or events beyond our control
Faulty Products
- In the highly unlikely event that an item sent to you is found to be faulty, you may contact us within 7 days after you have received your order
- We will cover the shipping cost of sending the item back to us
Sizing
- We do our best to help with any sizing questions you may have
- Please contact us if you are unsure of your gauge, length, and/or diameter before placing your order
- We are not responsible for items ordered in the wrong gauge, length, diameter, product, etc.
