Tattoos By Charlene is much more than a tattoo and piercing studio. It's a dream built from passion, creativity, resilience and family. Founded by Charlene and Garron, our studio was created to provide a safe, welcoming and professional environment where every client feels comfortable expressing themselves through body art. What started as one person's passion has grown into a family-run business offering professional tattoos, body piercings, temporary tattoos, glitter tattoos, event entertainment and lifestyle brands. Today we're proud to welcome clients from across South Africa and around the world.

One of the things we're most proud of isn't just our artwork... It's our studios. Both of our studios were lovingly built using reclaimed and recycled materials by Charlene's father, mother and late uncle. Charlene and Garron also spent countless hours helping design, build, paint, restore and improve the studios. Every wall, workstation and improvement reflects years of teamwork, determination and family support. We're proud that our studios weren't simply purchased... They were built with our own hands.

Charlene is the owner, founder and lead tattoo artist behind Tattoos By Charlene. Tattooing has always been more than just a career. It's a passion built around helping people tell their stories through artwork they'll wear forever. Charlene specialises in:

Garron is an essential part of Tattoos By Charlene and works alongside Charlene as her husband, partner and senior piercist to provide professional body piercing services. His focus is on client comfort, precision and creating a relaxed environment where clients feel confident throughout their appointment.
