Cover-up tattoos are a specialised process. Your existing tattoo, its size, darkness, placement, colour and any scar tissue can all affect what is realistically possible.

Why cover-ups are different

A cover-up has to work with what is already underneath the skin. Some designs, placements or fine details may need to be adjusted, enlarged, darkened or redesigned so the finished tattoo heals and reads well.

What we need from you

Clear, well-lit photos of the existing tattoo and the surrounding area help us assess the piece. During a consultation we can discuss suitable styles, sizing, placement options, estimated session time and whether more than one session may be needed.

Important

We cannot guarantee that every reference can cover every existing tattoo. Honest design guidance is part of the process, and sometimes the best result requires changing the original idea.
