How Student Rewards Work

Your qualifying spend unlocks a Student Rewards tier. You choose ONE reward from that tier per qualifying transaction. You do not automatically receive every reward listed in the tier, and the Student Rewards Program is not a separate tattoo price list.

🎓 IMPORTANT:
Student Rewards are based on your qualifying spend, not fixed student tattoo prices. Your normal service price still applies, then your qualifying Student Reward is selected according to the applicable tier. Only ONE tier and ONE reward may be claimed per qualifying transaction unless a specific reward section expressly says otherwise.

  • Original documentation may be requested at your appointment.
  • Management may verify your student status.
Please Note: Student Rewards are a permanent program and are separate from monthly specials. Student Rewards may only be combined with promotional offers where Tattoos By Charlene specifically states that they are applicable. If a promotion allows Student Rewards, the applicable Student Reward is calculated according to the promotion's stated rules.

  • Available only to currently enrolled students at registered South African tertiary education institutions.
  • A valid student card or current proof of registration is required before booking confirmation.

  • Student Rewards are generally available Monday–Thursday unless otherwise stated.
  • Student Rewards may only be combined with promotions where Tattoos By Charlene expressly states they are applicable.
  • Qualifying spend is determined according to the applicable reward rules.
  • Only ONE Student Rewards tier may be claimed per qualifying transaction.
  • Choose ONE reward from the applicable tier, except Platinum where TWO rewards may be selected.
  • Free basic piercings are limited to a maximum value of R200 and include standard jewellery only.
  • Free flash tattoos are limited to selected 5×5cm black designs.
  • Premium jewellery upgrades are limited to a value of R150 where included.
  • Referral credits are non-transferable, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Maximum of two referral credits may be redeemed in one transaction.
  • Rewards cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged.
  • Standard booking, cancellation and rescheduling policies apply.
  • Management reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Student Rewards Program at any time.
