Returns Policy

Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident purchasing from Tattoos By Charlene. This policy explains how returns of physical products purchased from our online shop are handled. It does not remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.

Unwanted products

Where a return is not required by law, we may accept an eligible unwanted product when it is unused, unopened where applicable, undamaged, in its original packaging and returned within the period stated on your order or by us. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns may be for the customer's account.

Hygiene-sensitive products

Products that are opened or used and cannot reasonably be resold for health or hygiene reasons may be excluded from a voluntary change-of-mind return, subject always to any statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.

Defective, unsafe or incorrect products

If a product is defective, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and clear photos where useful. We will assess the issue and provide the remedy available under applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, exchange or refund.

How to request a return

Contact us before sending anything back. Do not send products to the studio without return instructions. We may need photographs or other information to assess the request.

Services

Completed tattoo and piercing services are not physical goods and cannot be returned. This does not affect any consumer rights that may apply where a service was not performed to the required standard or where another remedy is available under law.

For tattoo deposits, bookings and cancellations, see our Booking & Payment Terms and the relevant consent documentation.
